Erik Wahl, graffiti artist and social philanthropist, announced this week he has rasied over $1,500,000 for charitable foundations and associations around the world through the auctioning of his artwork.

A charity poster designed by graffiti artist Banksy could raise as much as £80,000 when it is sold at auction next week. The original artwork was designed for Greenpeace's Save Or Delete campaign and was intended to highlight the problem of deforestation. One of the world's best-known graffiti artists, Banksy, said Tuesday that he has raised 4.5 million rubles ($146,000) for the Russian radical art group Voina, or War, whose members face jail time over their street performances.
